For the men and women in our recovery circles, rebuilding a life from the ground up can often feel like an “impossible mission.”
But we know the truth: with God, and with a community that refuses to give up on them, full restoration is possible.
When you partner with Into The Neighborhood, you aren’t just giving money—you are providing hope, dignity, and support to neighbors who need it most.
Look What Hope Built This Year
Your generosity translates directly into hands-on local ministry. Here is what your support makes possible:
- 🎭 Mardi Bras: Supplied essential health and hygiene products to 150+ women in recovery and women in need across 25+ partner organizations.
- 🏫 Student & Family Relief: Partnered with Communities in Schools and Chesterfield County Public Schools to distribute hundreds of hygiene products.
- 🕊️ Weekly Recovery & Faith: Reached 50+ individuals weekly at McShin Foundation and Imagine the Freedom, plus 30+ weekly attendees at our New Testament–style church gathering with LIFE Transformation Church.
- 🎓 Youth Outreach: Guided 10–20 students monthly at Chesterfield Recovery Academy
- 🏋🏽♀️ Men’s Outreach: 50+ men monthly through SlingShot sports gatherings alongside local church partners.
- 🌸 Women’s Outreach: 60+ women monthly through Body~Soul~Spirit gatherings, plus annual events like GALentine’s Day and Merry and Bright for 100s of women.
- 🎨 Art & Recovery: Hosted creative healing sessions for 15–20 participants per group at MAKE Creative Studio inside St. Giles (Ask us about volunteering!).
- 🍽️ Jail Ministry: Served holiday meals for Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas at Chesterfield County Jail, distributed 350 Get Clean! Bags with Redeemer Anglican, and gifted Christmas Boxes to local recovery community houses.
- 💛 Everyday Ministry: Walked 1:1 alongside individuals through mentoring, connection, and helping neighbors complete required community service hours.
