As our friends in the Richmond City Jail and Chesterfield County Jails are released, many come out and go into drug court, a recovery home or some other transitional home with little or no support. One of the things we do is provide them with gender specific baskets full of personal hygiene items.
You, your family, small group, book club, church or other house of worship can make these baskets. We need on average of 10-15 a month. Here’s the list of items for a basket…

- Q Tips
- Solid antiperspirant
- Lotion
- Toothbrush
- Toothpaste
- Journal/Notebook
- Note of Encouragement, Prayer, Scripture

- Nail Clippers
- Razors
- Comb/Brush
- Shaving Cream for men
- Bath Towel and Wash Cloth (used, but clean, is fine!)
