Into The Neighborhood is inviting you to help us raise over $15,000, Thanks to a $7500 matching grant. Our stretch goal is $20,000.

Through your partnership, we have accomplished much…

  • Provided Mardi Bras products for women in need at over 25 different partnering organizations
  • In partnership with Communities in Schools and Chesterfield County Public Schools, provided 100s of personal hygiene products for students and their families in need.
  • 4 weekly groups at McShin Foundation and Imagine the Freedomreaching over 50 individuals each week.
  • 1 weekly New Testament style church gathering in partnership with LIFE Transformation Church, reaching nearly 20 individuals a week
  • 1 monthly group with Chesterfield Recovery Academy, reaching 10-20 students a week.
  • Monthly men’s sports oriented gatherings called SlingShot, in partnership with Shockoe Bottom Performance, Second Baptist – River Road, Heights Church, Journey Church and more, reaching 50 men a month.
  • Regular Art and Recovery gatherings in partnership with MAKE Creative Studio inside St Giles, reaching 15-20 a week (Great place to volunteer!)
  • Special gatherings such as GALentine’s Day and Merry & Bright, reaching nearly 200 total
  • Holiday meals at the Chesterfield County jail serving inmates and their families for Mother’s Day and Father’s Day
  • Distribute 350 Get Clean! Bags to residents of the Chesterfield Jail each Christmas
  • Gifted 25 Christmas Boxes for recovery community houses
  • Ongoing everyday ministry through regular connections to touch base, encourage, and network
  • Assisted several individuals in completing over 300 hours of required community service so far this year

2 Corinthians 9:6-8 says…

Each man should give what he has decided in his heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver. And God is able to make all grace abound to you, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work.
