Will You Help?
From Lemons to Lemonade
One of any kid’s favorite summertime activities is to host a lemonade stand!!! And who doesn’t want a sip of lemonade or Arnold Palmer on a hot summer day???? We invite you and your family to support the work of Into The Neighborhood by hosting a Lemonade Stand this summer between June 15th and August 30th!
Help us to turn lemons into lemonade!

Prepare to Host
- Pray about this with your family and see what God shares with you. Please also pray for our neighbors in recovery, our volunteers, etc.
- Set your location, date and time.
- Make flyers, signs and decorations. Templates are provided in this kit.
- Share your event with your friends, neighbors and family via personal invite, email, social media.
- Be Creative! We know that everyone doesn’t like lemonade! So – be creative! Maybe your child or youth wants to mow lawns or do other kinds of yardwork. Maybe they prefer to babysit! It’s OK!
The Why
Help us turn lemons into lemonade by supporting men, women, and families in recovery from drug, alcohol, and other use disorders. Financial donations provide essential items and training such as:
- Personal hygiene & period products
- Bedding
- Transportation
- Bibles and other recovery resources
- Financial and workforce skills training
- Recovery life coaching for family members
- And more!

Thank you!!!
Thanks to Redeemer Anglican Church for encouraging us to think of ways that families and children can support the important work we do!!! One parent said “We just want to encourage children and youth to think outside of themselves!” and this is what they are doing! We invite YOU to get started with your own lemonade stand (or perform chores, cut grass, babysit, etc.) in support of the recovery community!
