We have scheduled this presentation for Saturday, 3.17.2012, and it is free and open to the public. Check out this link… You’re Invited.
Several weeks ago, I, along with about 40 others, were taught to facilitate a new presentation called Unpacking the 2010 Census: The New Realities of Race, Class and Jurisdiction. It is a multi-media DVD presentation narrated by Dr. John Moeser, followed by a facilitated dialogue by 2 trained facilitators.
There are 2 options for the Unpacking the 2011 Census presentation:
- A one-hour presentation with a focus on current data, comparing and contrasting poverty statistics in our region, and including a facilitated dialogue to follow.
- A two-hour presentation includes the same data presentation plus a presentation of the historical context for the region. This is also followed by facilitated dialogue.
